Styles/Lines

Burlington

  • The same look and dimensions as Heartwood, except for squared-off edges and corners for a decidedly
    sharper look.

The Burlington Collection represents a variation on the Heartwood theme. It was originally commissioned by a New
York City dealer, who felt that Heartwood needed to have harder lines for his contemporary city clientele. We
responded by leaving the edges of the Heartwood pieces square. All other design aspects remained unchanged.
Almost 30 years later, it is still one of our best-selling lines.

They are available in black walnut, American black cherry, and rock maple. Because we have been creating this line
for so long, we have a large library of pieces that can be easily customized.

Cable Crossing

  • A very modern line with a decidedly urban flair.
  • Our online line (as of yet) with mixed substrates.

A variation on the Skyline collection, the metal inlays, and braided metal pulls echo the lines of suspension bridges
and skyscrapers. The Cable Crossing collection is truly designed for the next generation.
Available in black walnut, American black cherry, and rock maple.

Craftsman

  • A lighter version of our Mission line with a heavy Art Deco influence.

Keeping with the straight, clean lines of our Mission style, we have designed our Craftsman line. Slimmer legs, thinner
tops, and a higher stance off the floor give this line a bold and yet graceful look. We have added our own flair on this
line, using flat pulls for drawers and doors rather than the traditional round knob.
Available in black walnut, American black cherry, and rock maple.

Heartwood

For a classic, slightly Art Deco look.

  • A contemporary melding of Shaker and Art Deco styles.
  • Heartwood’s legs and the undersides of tops are designed with a distinctly rounded edge to create a softer,
    more elegant appearance.
  • Arched lower beams add a light flair while keeping the lines clean and simple.

The Heartwood Collection has been a core part of our line since the 1980s. It combines the simple lines of the classic
Shaker style with the more contemporary look of Art Deco. The fusion of these two distinct styles allows these pieces
to be at home in any room and work with any décor.

The longevity of this line speaks to its timelessness. They are available in black walnut, American black cherry, and
rock maple. Because we have been creating this line for so long, we have a large library of pieces that can be easily
customized.

Horizon

Evoking hints of the Far East.

  • Classic styling with a subtle Asian flavor.
  • Gracefully curved legs create “the perfect arc.”
  • The Craftsman line features a greater Art Deco influence.
  • Contrasting pulls and slender end panels for more interest.
  • This line features two beds – a low contemporary design and a more elaborate version with a higher platform
    and an intriguing grid.

We journeyed all the way to Asia to find inspiration for this collection. You’ll uncover hints of the Far East in the
articulated curve of the legs — which was carefully conceived by our designer — and the subtle treatment along the
edges of the top. Even the pulls add a unique flair, with curves that take their cues from the shape of the leg and
contrasting wood. One of our most popular new lines.

While the standard combinations for these pieces are cherry with walnut pulls, maple with walnut pulls, and walnut
with cherry pulls, any other combination can be specially ordered. Mix and match different lines with an aesthetically
pleasing result.

Loft

  • Modern and simplistic
  • Very clean and uncluttered feel

Our newest modern offering is the Loft collection. Keeping with the clean and sleek look of Danish modern furniture,
while adding our own touches. Offset drawer pulls, and a precision cut headboard frame design makes this line a true
pleasure to have in your home.

Mission

Sturdy lines and a handcrafted heritage.

  • Our take on traditional Mission furniture.
  • The Mission line features straight, clean lines.
  • Bold styling with thick tops, square legs, and straight lower beams.

This style of furniture rose to popularity as a part of the American Arts and Crafts movement in the early 20th century.
Our take on this timeless classic stays true to the philosophy of simple horizontal and vertical lines, and flat panels.
This allows the beauty of the wood itself to be the main focus.

Available in black walnut, American black cherry, and rock maple.

Prairie

  • A strategic mix of the Mission and Craftsman lines.
  • Prairie brings the rich beauty of the natural wood to the forefront.

Rather than reproduce other designers’ furniture, we use specific styles as a starting point for our own designs,
reinterpreting classic concepts. The Prairie line is a perfect example of this, drawing heavily on the legacy of Mission
and Craftsman styles. Its low stance and wide ends truly accentuate the wood grain in each piece.

Available in black walnut, American black cherry, and rock maple.

Skyline

Contemporary style that’s at home anywhere

  • Our flagship contemporary line.
  • A modern design aesthetic that is simple and sleek.

Our tribute to Danish Modern. Slab ends, mixed wood bases and accented wood pulls make the Skyline collection
shine. As always, solid hardwood construction ensures that each piece is as durable as it is beautiful.
